Blurify is a free, privacy-first editor for hiding sensitive details in images. Auto-detection finds faces, license plates, and text; you choose what to blur, pixelate, or black out, then export a clean copy. No account, and your upload is deleted within an hour.

What you can blur

How it works

  1. Drop your images

Add up to 20 images per batch — JPEG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC/HEIF, 20 MB each. They upload straight to private, encrypted storage.

  2. We highlight what's sensitive

Auto-detection outlines faces, license plates, document text with PII, and screens. Nothing is hidden until you decide.

  3. Adjust and export

Toggle regions off, draw your own, and pick blur, pixelate, solid block, or color overlay. Download with EXIF and GPS stripped — originals deleted within an hour.

Questions, answered

Is the blur tool free?
Yes — Blurify is completely free. No account, no watermark, and no export limits beyond 20 images per batch.
Do you store or train on my images?
No. Uploads go to private, encrypted storage only long enough to run detection, then auto-delete within an hour. We never share them or use them to train any model.
Can the blur be reversed?
No. Blur, pixelate, and solid-block redaction are burned into the exported pixels with Sharp — there's no original data left in the hidden region to recover.
What can I blur or redact?
Faces, license and number plates, document text and PII, screenshots and screens, or any region you draw yourself — see the guides below for each.
Do I need an account or an app?
Neither. Open the page in any browser — iPhone, Android, laptop — drop an image, and export. No signup, no browser extension, nothing to install.
